Term Life Insurance

At ValleyWide, we provide term life insurance options for specific time periods. For those who don't have life insurance, starting with this plan can be a great choice. Term life insurance is much less expensive than permanent (whole) life insurance.

This term insurance comes in varying time periods with fixed premium options ranging from a 1-year annual renewable term to a 20-year level term. You may also be able to convert your term life insurance into permanent coverage.

Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance is a type of permanent insurance plan that has a lifetime validity, provided you continue to pay the premiums as dictated in the policy. This insurance is also a good investment opportunity that allows you to build cash value over time.

Universal Life Insurance

This is a form of permanent life insurance where the premiums are flexible. The face amounts and pricing structures are also not rigid. It can build good cash value, earning a periodically adjusted insurance rate that's set to not fall below a certain level.

When to Update Your Policy

With your changing life and rapidly evolving lifestyle, you may feel a need to change your life insurance coverage plans as well. Some events that can initiate a plan update include:

  • Marriage or divorce

  • New child or grandchild

  • Expansion of business

  • Deterioration of your or your spouse's health

  • Starting to provide care or monetary assistance to a parent

  • Assistance or long-term care required by your child or grandchild

  • Purchase of a new home

  • Planning for education of your child or grandchild

  • Concerns about income after retirement

  • Refinancing your home mortgage in the past 6 months

  • Receiving any inheritance

  • Possession of a sizable estate
